Welcome to Windsong Holistic Health!

Acupuncturist Traditional Naturopath Darlene Zwolinski, L.Ac / Traditional Naturopath

Traditional medicine tends to focus mainly on symptoms of disease and generally works in specified areas in the body.  At Windsong Holistic health, we take a whole body approach and strive to understand where the body is experiencing weakness, inflammation or stress.  Once we can understand where the body is having difficulties, we can determine what support is needed or what  needs to be eliminated or cleared in order to restore health.

What does a holistic approach mean?

Main stream medicine tends to compartmentalize health by focusing on specialties and body systems.  It is the rare physician that will look at all the issues a patient reports to try and determine what they can do to best address the body as a whole. One of my favorite authors, Dr. Mark Hyman says in his latest book:

"The way modern medicine operates is like trying to diagnose what's wrong with your car by listening to the noises it makes instead of looking under the hood."

                                                                                                    Dr. Mark Hyman, MD

What happens during the consultations?

I have many tools to help identify what is at the core of your health issues:

  • In depth interview
  • Biofeedback testing to identify:
    • Organ & glandular weaknesses/stressors
    • Allergies (food, environmental, animals, etc.)
    • Pathogens (bacteria, virus, fungi, parasites)
    • Toxins (heavy metals, chemicals)
    • Nutiritional deficienciences (vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids)
    • Hormonal imbalances
    • Metabolic disturbances
    • Neurotransmitters imbalances
  • Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis, including tongue & pulse

How does the treatment work?

Once the core issues are identified, I can test various herbal and homeopathic remedies to determine what will help balance and support your body to improve your health condition. Every person who walks into my office walks out with a unique protocol and plan to improve their health. We will work to:

  • Eliminate/reduce what's getting in the way of your body functioning as best it can be
  • Support organs & glands that are weakened and struggling
  • Suggest nutritional supplements so your body has the tools to function optimally
  • Identify food allergens and make dietary recommendations based on your health picture
  • Construct a plan together that you feel you can follow with detailed instruction which can include Chinese Herbs, Western Herbs, supplement & dietary recommendations

If you booked an Initial Acupuncture Treatment session, then you will receive an Acupuncture treatment in your first visit. If you booked a Naturopathic/NAET session and your chief complaint is for allergies, you will receive your first NAET treatment within the session.

I would be honored to be your partner on your journey to better health naturally. All you need to do is book an appointment. Let's get started!
