Welcome to Windsong Holistic Health!

What is Windsong Holistic Health all About?

Traditional medicine tends to focus mainly on symptoms of the disease and generally works in specified areas of the body.  At Windsong Holistic Health, we take a whole-body approach and strive to understand where the body is experiencing weakness, inflammation, or stress. Once we can understand where the body is having difficulties, we can determine what support is needed or what needs to be eliminated or cleared in order to restore health.

What does a holistic approach mean?

Mainstream medicine tends to compartmentalize health by focusing on specialties and body systems. It is the rare physician that will look at all the issues a patient reports to try and determine what they can do to best address the body as a whole. One of my favorite authors, Dr. Mark Hyman says:

"The way modern medicine operates is like trying to diagnose what's wrong with your car by listening to the noises it makes instead of looking under the hood."

                                                                                                    Dr. Mark Hyman, MD

Through an extensive interview process and with the use of traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis, we will determine the best treatment plan for you! This might include acupuncture, Chinese herbs, western herbs, homeopathic remedies, NAET allergy treatments, supplements as well as dietary and lifestyle recommendations. Patients start with a 30-day protocol and receive a proposed treatment plan going forward.

I look forward to being your partner in health,

Darlene

Windsong Holistic Health COVID Precautions

Here are the precautions I will be taking to keep you and our friends and family safe:

  1. I ask that all patients wear a mask to their appointment. This applies to anyone age 3 and over.
  2. Please enter the office right at your appointment time, as we are trying to prevent people from lingering in the waiting room, thus limiting everyone's exposure. Walk straight back to the office around the corner with the red walls.
  3. I will be wearing a mask and using gloves during our appointment.
  4. Anyone experiencing any symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat, chills, muscle aches, or headaches, please let us know and we can reschedule your appointment.
  5. I will take your temperature upon arrival and will have hand sanitizer available for your use.
  6. I will be using paper instead of sheets on my exam table.
  7. Tables, chairs, surfaces, NAET vials, Acustim, Asyra handles and door handles will be cleaned between patients.
  8. Appointments will be staggered so that there will not be an overlap of people in the clinic.
  9. I have added an air cleaner in my office to help circulate the air.
  10. Please plan on paying either by credit card or Venmo so that we do not have to handle cash.

If we follow the guidelines as directed to us by the DORA (Department of Regulatory Agencies), we can keep everyone safe and healthy. I hope to see you soon!
